Women's Ministries

The Women's Ministries team aim to 
  • Encourage and foster spiritual growth and confidence.
  • Establish the identity of a Godly woman
  • To create environments for personal development
  • Facilitate a female mentorship program by which younger women are partnered with a supportive guide
  • Build community relations through outreach programs targeting identified needs within neighbouring areas
  • Have a Women’s Day programme 
Plans
  • To identify and model the contribution of women in ministry in the Bible and encourage women to seek out their gifts and talents to use to the mission of the church.
  • To nurture and fortify the minds of women placing value on both their physical and spiritual identity.
  • To visit women’s hostel groups in the community through ventures such as visiting, providing toiletries, hampers and soft skills sessions.
  • Back to school schemes and making contact with sponsors and suppliers
  • To provide groups wherein women participate in activities ,that promotes healthy lifestyle choices and develop their skillset such as healthy cooking & recipe swapping/exercise partners/ Sewing, knitting and crochet etc.
  • To plan for a Women Ministries Sew and Craft retreat, collaborating with other departments/ Churches.
Projects 
  • Sewing classes five week courses.
  • Knitting and crochet wellbeing group – making items for the local community.
  • Women’s prayer and bonding walking group
